Christmas Sunday 12/21/08
All I can say is that I wish that the kids enjoyed me taking their pictures as much as I enjoy taking them. I was determined to get a picture of all them HAPPILY posing by the tree before church yesterday. Oh well, at least we got the posing by the tree part right. They are still the sunshine of my life anyway!!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
One of Ellary's favorite songs to sing is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. The funny thing is, she won't sing unless she is looking at a book at the same time. She has to pretend it is her "songbook." As you can see, she seemed to get very distracted with the little boy in this book, or maybe it was because it was almost midnight and she should have been in bed :-) Make sure to scroll down and pause my music playlist so that you can hear the video!!

Sunday at the Yeoman's 12/14/08
Yes, Ellary went to church in a tutu! I just couldn't resist. All day long she was telling everyone "I Santa's Favorite." I wonder where she got that idea!
I love all of Ellary's "drool" pictures. I think she is going to drool until she is 16!!
Oh, How I love my sweet girls! They have so much fun together!
When Ellary yells "I going to TACKLE you", you better be ready. This is her favorite thing to do with Jace. Of course, he loves it!

Christmas is Magical for Ellary
Ellary loves our Christmas Tree and especially loves to see all of the lights as we are driving around at night. She is constantly saying "Look at the Christmas lights, Mom. They are so pretty." It is magical for her. We are all having so much fun feeling the joys and excitement of the Christmas Season through our sweet 2 year old's eyes. As I was looking at the pictures I took of her today, they reminded me of how much she has grown since last Christmas as she stood by the same tree, so I thought I would include a couple of those, too!

My Baby is Growing Up!
Now that Jace is in middle school, he goes to school an hour after the other kids. I take Zach and Sara to school and then come home and make breakfast for Jace before driving him to school. Ellary is usually still sleeping until we wake her right before we leave. It is really nice to be able to have that little window of time with him each morning. He seems to be growing up so fast. It seems like just yesterday he was my chubby little toddler only dreaming of playing sports and going to school. Now I look at him and am amazed at the teenager he is quickly becoming. He is such a good boy who gives his all to everything he does. I am so proud to be his Mother and love the bond that we have between us. Time is flying way too fast these days....I only wish I could make it stand still sometimes......

Air Force One & President Bush
What an exciting day it was! Richard, Jace and I were given the opportunity to see Air Force One and President Bush land in Greensboro yesterday. We were escorted onto the tarmac right before President Bush landed. It was amazing to be that close. He was in Greensboro for a quick meeting. We also watched as he returned to the airport, waved goodbye and jetted off again! I have always been a George Bush fan and it was a once in a lifetime experience to see all of this yesterday!

Thanksgiving Fun
Twilight at Midnight
About 25 of us had a GNO and went to the midnight showing of Twilight! It was a blast. For those of you that know me well....you will be shocked to know that I stayed awake the entire movie!! My eyelids did not even get heavy. Just in case you are wondering why some of the pictures are taken in the restroom....The manager came into the theater and demanded that we all take our cameras to our cars. I had not even had a chance to take any pictures yet, so we took a few in the restroom!! I know it is totally insane. Of course, the movies are never as good as the books. Although, we really enjoyed it and can't wait for New Moon!!
